Snackjes! ("the App") is developed by Palú Labs × Kimbi Games. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
Game Center
The App integrates with Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. Game Center is managed by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not collect or store any Game Center data on our servers.
Local Storage
Your game progress, high scores, and preferences are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Snackfest (multiplayer challenges)
When you use Snackfest, we store the following data via our secure backend (Supabase, EU region Frankfurt):
Data we store
Your Game Center player ID (if signed in to Game Center) or a locally generated random UUID (if not signed in). A nickname you choose, which you can change at any time. Your challenge participation: codes you join, scores you submit, and timestamps. A device fingerprint (SHA-256 hash of your installation ID) used solely for rate limiting.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, or location data. We do not collect real names (unless you chose your Game Center display name as your nickname, which is your choice). We do not use behavioural analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising IDs.
Legal basis
We process Snackfest data based on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): providing the multiplayer feature you actively initiated.
Data retention
Challenges and associated scores are automatically deleted 90 days after the challenge expires.
Right to deletion (Art. 17 GDPR)
Using "Delete my data" in the App settings, you can anonymize your data. Your nickname is replaced with "Verwijderd" (Deleted), your Game Center link is cleared, and all scores you submitted are displayed as "Verwijderd". This preserves the score history for other players in challenges you participated in, while removing your identifiable data.
Data processor
Snackfest data is processed by Supabase Inc., acting as a data processor under a standard data processing agreement. Data is stored in the EU region (Frankfurt, Germany).
Analytics & Tracking
The App does not use any analytics, crash reporting, or tracking tools. We do not collect usage data.
Advertising
The App does not contain any advertisements and does not use advertising SDKs or ad networks.
Third-Party Services
In addition to Apple Game Center (described above) and Supabase (for Snackfest, described above), the App does not integrate any third-party SDKs that collect user data.
Contact Form
When you submit a message through our support form, we receive your name, email address, and message via email. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not stored in any database.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. No age verification is requested, no email addresses are collected, and no real identity is required. Snackfest challenges are only accessible via personal invite codes, which minimizes exposure risk. Game Center age restrictions are managed by Apple through parental controls.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
